With the growing global awareness of health, the Macau Special Administrative Region, under the guidance of the "1+4" strategy for moderately diversified economic development, has integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) to promote the growth of the health industry. Sponsored by Wynn Macau and organized by the Macau Chinese Medicine and Health Industry Association, the “Winter Wellness: Stroke Prevention and TCM Wisdom” Forum was grandly held on January 6, 2025, at Wynn Macau. The event attracted numerous experts, scholars, and industry elites.

The forum focused on preventing cardiovascular diseases and enhancing health literacy. On the day of the event, keynote speeches were delivered by Mr. Xu Shaobo, President of the Macau Chinese Medicine and Health Industry Association, and Mr. Wang Yiliang, President of the Macau Chinese National Medicine Industry Association. Both expressed their warm congratulations on the successful hosting of the forum and emphasized the significance of TCM in the moderately diversified economic development of Macau. Following the speeches, the lighting ceremony was co-hosted by representatives from various sectors, symbolizing the launch of new opportunities in the health industry.

During the forum, renowned physician Dr. Chao Youyi discussed the integration of TCM and nutrition, stressing the importance of stroke prevention and offering practical advice to enhance the health literacy of the elderly. Additionally, Mr. Ng Yip Mau, a lecturer from Kiang Wu Nursing College, introduced stroke recognition techniques and emergency response measures, enhancing the public’s ability to react appropriately.

This event further reinforced the role of TCM in stroke prevention and health management, providing innovative insights for the sustainable development of Macau's health industry.
