Macau Health Blueprint Seminar: Promoting the Integration of Tourism and Big Health Development

On January 3, 2025, the "Macau Health Blueprint Seminar—Tourism and Health Deepen" was grandly held at the Grand Hyatt Macau in City of Dreams. Organized by the Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine and Big Health Industry Chamber of Commerce, the event aimed to align with the Macau SAR Government's "1+4" moderately diversified economic development strategy by promoting the deep integration of traditional Chinese medicine and the tourism health industry.


The seminar featured a lighting ceremony, keynote speeches, and panel discussions. Co-organizers included the Macau Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the Macau Hotel Association, the University of Saint Joseph (Faculty of Health Sciences), and Huajian Pharmaceutical. Industry experts and leaders gathered to explore the current status, challenges, and development opportunities for Macau's tourism and Big Health industries.

Guest speeches were delivered by key figures, including Mr. Cheung Kin Chung, Vice President of the Macau Federation of Manufacturers and President of the Macau Hotel Association; Mr. Shek Chong Wing, President of the Macau Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine; and Mr. Hui Siu Po, President of the Macau Traditional Chinese Medicine and Big Health Industry Chamber of Commerce. They congratulated the successful forum and emphasized the crucial role of the health industry in Macau's economic diversification.

The forum provided fresh perspectives and directions for Macau's health industry. The Macau SAR Government remains committed to refining health policies, fostering industry innovation, and enhancing the quality of health services for residents and visitors, further contributing to economic diversification.
